Sweetness.
I could just feel his presence. He was safe, but I could sense danger. He was all over me. I could smell him. It was sweet, like freshly cut spring flowers. As I inhaled, my lungs felt full, and there was a sense of longing for his touch.
But as soon as it felt comforatble, it felt dangerous. It was dark. Very dark. I couldn't see anything. Then this presence engulfed me. I felt overwhelmed with guilt, sadness, anger, and a hunger.I was craving him. It was unlike anything I've ever felt before.
And then in the distance, there were eyes. Large, deep, and glowing in the darkness.
I then felt a sharp pain in my side. I gasped as I looked down and there was blood covering the side of my shirt and pants. I looked up and all I could see was those eyes looking at me. I started to feel dizzy, then fell. I kept falling, and falling, and as soon as I was going to hit the ground, my alarm clock went off...
My Aunt then banging on my door. "Darlin', you up?" in her thick southern accent.
It was all a dream. But what was that all about?
